From the very beginning MORe Community Church has been a church that cherishes authentic community. Our goal is to have approximately 120% of our weekend church attendance in a MORe Community Group (MCG). That’s a big goal, but it’s one we believe is worth striving to achieve because community groups provide the best place to foster genuine and transparent relationships. Community groups play an essential role in the care and development of a Christ-follower. It’s the environment where sustained life change occurs.
A MCG usually consists of 4 to 12 people who meet often but gather together intentionally on a regular weekly basis to study God’s word, to discuss the application of the past week's sermon and to sometimes join together in a particular book study. It is here where we discuss issues and challenges of life. It’s also where we pray, care for one another, dream with each other , rejoice with each other and sometimes cry with each other. Some MCGs meet in homes, some at the church office and some in area businesses and restauraunts.
Different places, different times, different leaders but all the same goal - do life together, learn, be open, be supported, be valued for who you are. ..and to pray for the Gospel transform you.
